Minister Cummings Visits THA Chief Secretary and Tours Tobago Youth Facilities

Minister Foster Cummings makes a presentation to Chief Secretary Farley Augustine

Youth Development and National Service Minister, the Honourable Foster Cummings, paid a courtesy call on Chief Secretary, the Honourable Farley Augustine, on Tuesday March 22, 2022, at the Office of the Secretary of Finance, Trade and the Economy, in Scarborough, Tobago.

During the meeting Minister Cummings and Chief Secretary Augustine discussed a number of high priority youth initiatives and possible partnerships between the Ministry of Youth Development and National Service (MYDNS) and the Tobago House of Assembly (THA).

While in Tobago, Minister Cummings also visited the Kendal Farm School, Tobago Hospitality Tourism Institute (THTI) and the Micro Enterprise Centres at Argyle, Calder Hall, Signal Hill and Adventure.
Administrator – Division Finance, Trade and the Economy, Dianne Baker-Henry, guided the tour of the Youth Facilities and was accompanied by Secretary – Food Security, Natural Resources, the Environment and Sustainable Development, Assemblyman Nathisha Charles-Pantin; Secretary – Division of Community Development, Youth Development and Sport, Assemblyman Terance Baynes; and Secretary – Division of Education, Research and Technology, Assemblyman Zorisha Hackett.

The Ministry of Youth Development and National Service remains committed to bringing all stakeholders together to promote youth development and encourages civic-minded citizens to contribute to national service across Trinidad and Tobago.
