MYDNS pays tribute to MiLAT Cadet, Emmanuel Monsegue

Port of Spain, 25 August, 2022: The Ministry of Youth Development and National Service (MYDNS), extends deepest condolences to the family and friends of MA21046 Cadet Emmanuel Monsegue.

Cadet Monsegue was enrolled in the Military-Led Academic Training (MiLAT) Programme up until his untimely passing, which has plunged the MiLAT Academy, and by extension the Ministry of Youth Development and National Service (MYDNS), into mourning.

During his training at the MiLAT Academy, Cadet Monsegue was instrumental in the Bravo Cohort’s many achievements. At the recently held Sports and Family Day, he conceptualized and created the logo for the Bravo Cohort and he captained the Bravo cricket team during various sporting events. Cadet Monsegue will be remembered as a team player who was well respected among his peers and Commanders.

The MYDNS acknowledges the contributions of Cadet Monsegue to the accomplishments of the Bravo Cohort and by extension the Academy. Lieutenant (N) Anthony Goddard, Programme Director of MiLAT expressed “Cadet Monsegue’s passing is truly a shock to the entire MiLAT and MYDNS families. He was indeed a respectable young man who was filled with great potential. I extend sincerest condolences to his family and friends at this time. May he rest in peace.”
